About the event

Another hidden gem from the extraordinary record collection of our resident selector, Kristian Kaltenbach.

For this edition of our Deep Listening series, Kristian invites us into the atmospheric world of Japanese ambient pioneer Takashi Kokubo, presenting his album Get At The Wave.

Known for his immersive environmental compositions, Kokubo creates music that blurs the boundaries between sound, nature and imagination. His delicate electronic textures, flowing melodies and spacious soundscapes invite listeners to slow down and experience music as an environment rather than simply something playing in the background.

Get At The Wave takes us into a world of gentle movement, aquatic atmospheres and meditative electronic sounds — a sonic escape that feels both intimate and expansive.

One Hour of Silence. A Different Way of Listening.

We invite you to spend one full hour in silence, listening with your complete attention.

No phones. No conversations. No distractions.

Just you, the music, a cup of carefully prepared Chinese tea, and the rare opportunity to be fully present.

In a world filled with constant noise and stimulation, intentional listening offers something increasingly precious: space to slow down, calm the mind and reconnect with your senses.

You might be surprised by what happens when you simply allow yourself to listen. A deeper sense of calm, greater awareness, unexpected emotions, or a renewed appreciation for the smallest details in sound.

Come and experience the benefits of doing nothing but listening for one hour.

Together, we'll experience the album accompanied by specialty Chinese tea, prepared in the traditional Gong Fu Cha style.

After the listening session, we'll open the space for conversation, reflections and stories behind the record.
