TEA & VINYL SOCIAL EVENING

On October 15, we’re opening Tea & Vinyl House for a slow social evening centred around tea, vinyl and connection.

The evening will be hosted by Innokenty from Zen Tea Space http://instagram.com/zen_tea_space, who will be brewing and sharing tea gongfu-style throughout the night.

For this evening, we’re preparing a grounding and meditative tea selection — aged teas, GABA teas and a few rare finds from China, Taiwan, Georgia and Vietnam.

Warm, deep and complex teas to help you slow down, feel grounded and settle into a state of calm focus. A chance to leave the day behind, reconnect with yourself and simply stay present over cup after cup.

You’re welcome to ask questions, explore different origins, years and styles with us, or simply sit back and enjoy the experience.

Alongside the tea, DJ Mellowman — Alexander Shimanovski, co-founder of Tea & Vinyl — will play a warm vinyl selection moving through jazz, soul, hip-hop, funk, disco and experimental sounds.

This is not a formal tea ceremony or a guided listening session. It’s an open tea house evening — come alone or with friends, gather around the tea table, meet new people, read, draw, listen to records and let the evening unfold naturally.
