Offline Club Berlin and Tea & Vinyl phone-free evening

On Friday, October 30, The Offline Club Berlin and Tea & Vinyl House are coming together for a phone-free evening dedicated to reconnecting with ourselves, with others, and with the company of tea and vinyl.

The Offline Club is a global community that exist more than 16 cities reimagining how we connect with ourselves, each other an redefine how we use tech. By putting our phones away for a few hours, we create space to slow down, be present and connect

Throughout the evening, a curated selection of Chinese teas and vinyl records by Tea & Vinyls

will accompany us, creating a warm space to step away from everyday distractions and give our full attention to present.

18:00–18:30 | Arrival

Let your phone rest for the evening, get your tea and settle in

18:30–19:30 | Introduction & time to yourself

After a short introduction, enjoy an hour of solo offline time accompanied by tea and vinyl. Read, write, draw, reflect or simply sit back and listen.

19:30–20:30 | Time to connect Meet new people, share reflections and join one of the evening’s themed conversation tables or simply continue enjoying the music and tea at your own pace.

20:30 | Hugs & goodbye

Time to yourself

This is your invitation to slow down. No multitasking and no notifications. Just tea, vinyl and an uninterrupted hour to listen, read, write, draw, reflect or simply be.

Bring a book, journal, sketchbook or another screen-free activity you enjoy. We’ll also have a selection of offline activities available if you would like to try something new.

Time to connect

After our solo hour, the space will open for relaxed conversation (only if you feel like it.)

Talk about what you listened to, connect over tea, meet someone you might not otherwise have crossed paths with or join one of our themed conversation tables. We create laid-back spaces where talking to strangers feels natural and connection is made a little easier.

Come solo or bring a friend. Both are equally welcome.

We can’t wait to swap screen time for tea, vinyl and real time with you.

About your phone

When you arrive, your phone can relax in our “phone hotel,” and we’ll keep an eye on it for you. Just a quick heads-up: if it magically disappears, learns to fly or somehow gets damaged, The Offline Club cannot take responsibility.

Not quite ready to hand it over? That’s completely okay. Please switch it off or put it on airplane mode and keep it tucked away, fully out of sight.

This applies to all screen devices, including phones, laptops and tablets. E-readers are welcome.
