SHODŌ 書道 — JAPANESE CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP

On October 17, we’ll gather at Tea & Vinyl for an afternoon dedicated to Shodō — the Japanese art of brush calligraphy.

Working with brush, ink and paper, Shodō brings attention to the simplest gestures: the movement of the hand, the rhythm of a stroke, the space left untouched. Each character takes shape through a balance of intention and spontaneity, holding a trace of the moment in which it was written.

Led by Anastasiya Mirutko, who has been practising Shodō since 2018, the workshop offers time to explore this art at your own pace. Beginners and experienced participants are equally welcome, with space for both first encounters and further discovery.

An afternoon to slow down, settle into the movement of the brush and discover the expressive possibilities of ink.
