A phone-free evening to slow down, listen deeply and reconnect.

After our first gathering, The Offline Club Berlin and Tea & Vinyl House are coming together again for a special edition — this time with a dedicated one-hour deep listening session.

In a world where music often becomes background noise and our attention is constantly divided, we invite you to experience something different: one full hour of simply listening.

Just carefully selected vinyl records, Chinese tea and the opportunity to be fully present.

Through intentional listening, we create space to notice details we usually miss, reconnect with our senses and experience music on a deeper level.

You might be surprised by how different an hour can feel when nothing is competing for your attention.

After the listening session, we'll open the space for relaxed conversation, shared reflections and meaningful connections.

Come alone or bring a friend. Everyone is welcome.

The Evening

18:00–18:30 | Arrival & Welcome Tea

Check your phone into our phone hotel, enjoy a cup of Chinese tea and settle into the space. Take a moment to leave the outside world behind.

18:30–19:30 | One Hour of Deep Listening

For one uninterrupted hour, we invite everyone to listen together in silence.

A carefully curated selection of vinyl records will guide us through an immersive sonic journey, accompanied by specialty Chinese tea.

This is not background music. This is an invitation to give sound your full attention.

No talking, scrolling or multitasking. Just listening.

19:30–21:00 | Time to Connect

After an hour of shared silence, the space opens for conversation.

Share your listening experience, meet new people, exchange thoughts or simply continue enjoying tea and music at your own pace.

Because sometimes the most meaningful conversations begin after we've spent some time in silence.

Why Deep Listening?

We spend so much of our lives surrounded by sound, yet rarely take the time to truly listen.

Deep listening is a simple but powerful practice of giving music our undivided attention.

It can help us slow down, become more aware of our surroundings, notice subtle emotions and rediscover the pleasure of being present.

At Tea & Vinyl, we believe that Chinese tea culture and intentional music listening share something essential: both invite us to experience the present moment with greater attention.

The Offline Club is a global community active in more than 16 cities, reimagining how we connect with ourselves, each other and technology.

By putting our phones away for a few hours, we create space to slow down, be present and build genuine human connections.

About Your Phone

When you arrive, you're welcome to leave your phone in our phone hotel, where it can take a well-deserved break.

Prefer to keep it with you? That's completely fine. Simply switch it off or put it on airplane mode and keep it out of sight throughout the event.

The phone-free experience applies to all screens, including laptops and tablets.
