RECOVERY SUNDAY - VIRTUAL DREAMS II

After a beautiful Haejang gathering in Amsterdam, we’re bringing the experience back to Berlin and introducing a new series at Tea & Vinyl: Recovery Sundays.

Inspired by the Korean tradition of Haejang — recovering and restoring balance after a night out — we’re creating a space to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with yourself after a long week.

Every Sunday, we’ll explore different connections between ambient music, tea, and relaxation. A space where you can simply lie down, close your eyes, listen, and do absolutely nothing.

For our first edition, we return to Virtual Dreams II, a listening journey through Japan’s ambient house and techno scene of 1993–1999. Warm analog sounds, forgotten records, and music from memory.

Alongside the music, we’ll serve a special selection of GABA teas, exploring different varieties and their unique characters, as well as other soothing teas traditionally appreciated for their calming qualities and support for relaxation and the nervous system. All teas will be carefully brewed and served in the traditional Gongfu style.

No rush. No distractions. Just tea, music, and a little space to breathe.
