THE ART OF BEGINNING AGAIN New Year’s Day Ritual

Start the year slowly. Start it with intention.

What if the first day of the year wasn’t about making resolutions, setting goals or rushing into what’s next?

What if, instead, we gave ourselves permission to slow down, reflect, listen and simply be?

On January 1st, we invite you to begin 2027 differently.

The Art of Beginning Again is an intimate five-hour experience bringing together Chinese tea culture, guided meditation, mindful journaling and deep listening on vinyl.

A gentle journey from stillness to sound, from personal reflection to meaningful connection.

A space to let go of what no longer serves you, welcome what lies ahead and celebrate the beauty of a fresh beginning.

THE EXPERIENCE

14:00–14:45 | Opening Tea Ceremony

We begin with a traditional Chinese Gong Fu Cha ceremony. Through the simple ritual of preparing and sharing tea, we slow down, awaken our senses and arrive fully in the present moment.

14:45–15:15 | Guided Meditation

A gentle guided meditation to release the weight of the past year, reconnect with ourselves and create space for everything the new year may bring.

15:15–16:15 | New Year Journaling

An hour dedicated entirely to you.

Through thoughtful prompts and quiet reflection, we’ll explore gratitude, lessons from the past year, dreams and intentions for 2027.

No pressure to achieve or become someone new. Just an opportunity to listen to yourself and discover what truly matters.

16:15–17:15 | Deep Listening Session

An immersive listening journey through carefully selected Japanese ambient, experimental and atmospheric music played on vinyl.

For one hour, we put our phones away, leave conversations behind and allow the music to take us somewhere else.

Nothing to do. Nowhere to be. Just listen.

17:15–19:00 | Free-Flow Tea Bar & Vinyl DJ Set

We end the afternoon by coming together.

Enjoy a selection of specialty teas from our free-flow tea bar while our DJs take you on a warm musical journey through ambient, downtempo and gentle electronic sounds.

A moment to share reflections, meet new people, reconnect with friends or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF NEW YEAR’S CELEBRATION

No crowded dance floors. No pressure to party. No expectations of becoming a new version of yourself overnight.

Just beautiful tea, carefully curated music, meaningful rituals and a room full of people choosing to begin the year with intention.

Come alone or bring someone close. No previous experience with tea ceremonies, meditation or journaling is needed.

Everything will be gently guided, and all materials will be provided.

You don’t have to reinvent yourself this year.

Sometimes, the most beautiful way to begin again is simply to slow down.
